Woman claims Walmart’s negligence caused her to slip and fall

A woman in another state recently claimed that a Walmart Supercenter caused her to suffer injuries due to its carelessness. She filed a premises liability lawsuit against the retail giant. In the same manner, anyone in Kentucky who believes that a business property owner’s negligence caused them to slip and fall and, in turn, suffer injuries has the right to take legal action.

In the recent case, the woman claimed that she was in the laundry detergent aisle at a local Walmart store one day. All of a sudden, one of her feet reportedly slipped on a wet substance.  As a result, the woman alleged she fell forward, and her other knee bent backward and twisted.

The woman asserted that she just so happened to be recovering from a knee arthroscopy at the time of the accident. She claimed that the accident unfortunately caused her to suffer a brand-new tear injury in the recovering knee, which required treatment. According to her lawsuit, Walmart permitted the potentially hazardous condition at the store and did not warn guests about the potentially dangerous conditions. She is seeking a judgment for monetary damages.

Sometimes business property owners in Kentucky fail to keep up their properties appropriately, and as a result, their guests suffer serious injuries. In addition to suffering physical injuries, people who slip and fall may also lose wages due to having to miss work to recover from their injuries. Fortunately, these individuals have the right to seek the reimbursement of financial damages, which may help to address any monetary losses stemming from these types of accidents.
