A woman in another state recently claimed that a Walmart Supercenter caused her to suffer injuries due to its carelessness. She filed a premises liability lawsuit against the retail giant. In the recent case, the woman claimed that she was in the laundry detergent aisle at a local Walmart store one day. All of a sudden, one of her feet reportedly slipped on a wet substance. As a result, the woman alleged she fell forward, and her other knee bent backward and twisted.
The woman asserted that she just so happened to be recovering from a knee arthroscopy at the time of the accident. She claimed that the accident unfortunately caused her to suffer a brand-new tear injury in the recovering knee, which required treatment. According to her lawsuit, Walmart permitted the potentially hazardous condition at the store and did not warn guests about the potentially dangerous conditions. She is seeking a judgment for monetary damages.
